Trip Overview

The Ganesh Himal trekking is in the remote area suitable for all age people (groups). It has untouched natural beauty, which has un-inhabitant foothills running down to the south -west of Ganesh Himal Range or Chain. The GANESH HIMAL (A name is given for Elephant-Headed God, Ganesh) range consists of several peaks over 7,000 m in the central Himalayan location.  From this trekking, you will see Langtang Mountains (range) too. Ganesh Himal treks start from north of Katmandu, small town called BETRAWATI and end in GORKHA, the ancient historical kingdom of Nepal ruled by brave Soldiers of GURKHAS. Snow may be encountered at any time on the higher parts of the route. Wild animals, wild plants (200 species, 50 of them are used for various purpose) and waterfalls, unique community villages are its specialists.

  • Day 3

    Drive by bus from Katmandu to Betrawati, O/N at tent.

  • Day 4

    Trek from Betrawati to Satdobato, O/N at tent.

  • Day 5

    Trek from Satdobato to Bhalche, O/N at tent.

  • Day 6

    Trek from Bhalche to Ghanga, O/N at tent.

  • Day 7

    Trek from Ghanga to Rupchet, O/N at tent.

  • Day 8
