Trip Overview

Bumthang Culture Trek is designed to address the need of an average walker, spending just three days in a mild altitude which does not go over (3,400 m / 11,155 ft). The four valleys of Bumthang are regarded the sacred land of Bhutan (holy places). Many Important Nyingmapa saints from even Pema Linngpa come to this place. The treks crosses several villages and goes through the picturesque Bumthang countryside, giving an exceptional opportunity to be in contact with rural life. October to May is the best time to do this trek.
