Trip Overview
Machhapuchre model trek is a newly discovered virgin trek in the Annapurna region. This is an alternative trekking route in Annapurna at a time when the long run and previously world`s renowned Annapurna treks has felt in risk with loss of its attraction and sharp declined in trekkers numbers caused by the construction of motorable roads to the modern development needs; the route has developed on two fold models, viz. Camping as well as community based village tourism with home stay provisions in different villages named: Dhital (1,545 m), Hyangjakot (1,545 m), Nuwagaon (1,280 m), Lwang (1,460 m), Ghalel (1,530 m), Takru (1,450 m), Sidhing (1,700 m), Lachok (1,160 m), Ghachok (1,254 m), Machhapuchhre Himal (Fistail Mountain), Ribhan (1,430 m), Tuse (1,360 m), Dhiprang (1,440 m), Mirsa (1,480 m), Kabhre (1,480 m) & Chyanglung (1,440 m) in this way, touching 16,000 local villagers as direct and indirect beneficiaries in one way or another. In the above villages, we could make a home stay trek, close to local Gurung, a major ethnic group of Nepal .

Arrive at Kathmandu (1,350 m), transfer at hotel, free day & trip briefing in the evening

Visit Kathmandu valley as the private guided city tour (Swayambhunth Stupa (Monkey Temple), Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple et Kathmandu Durbar Square)

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (915 m/7 hrs) by tourist bus /coach
